My attraction to daylilies came with the arrival of the red lily beetle (AKA lilioceris lilii, scarlet lily beetle and lily leaf beetle) to Manitoba.
Within 2 short years my entire collection of Asiatic Lilies had been nearly decimated!
I very quickly turned to daylilies as a replacement and have not looked back since. I soon discovered the Lily garden in Beausejour.
